There are a few steps to getting articles showing on the site, including creating categories, writing the articles, and placing them in the navigation or on pages inside content layouts.
Creating Categories
To create an easily filterable article base, it's useful to create categories that the articles can be assigned to. Click on 'Articles' and then 'Categories' in the left-hand sidebar. You can then add your category name and URL. Then simply click 'Add New Category'.
Creating Articles
If you click on 'Articles' and 'Add a New Post', you'll be taken to the article creation page. An article page starts like any other page where you can edit and customise your banner. This then leads into the Plot page designer, which allows you to lay out a range of content and image layouts to create the article. Typically these are:
Fluid content - this allow you to add in lots of written content
Embed media - this allows you to drop in rich media on the page
Once you've created your page structure and inputted your content, please save the article as a draft or publish it live.
Adding Latest articles layout
Simply navigate to the page you wish to add articles to and add the 'Latest Articles Layout' option in the Plot page designer.
You then have the options to add a heading, curate the articles you wish to show, and select how many you want to show - it's as simple as that!
