By default your Plot website will come with a newsletter sign up and contact us form in place.
You can create as many more forms as you need and position them anywhere on the website using the 'Form' layout option in the Plot page designer. First, let's create the forms you want to use.
Creating new Forms
To do this, go to the 'Forms' section in the left-hand sidebar and click 'Add New'.
Here, you'll have the option to pick from a variety of pre-made forms or choose a blank template to start building your own. Simply give your form a title and select either a blank or pre-made template.
Choosing 'blank form' will take you to the form builder page where you can build out the form fields. Simply click on the fields you want in your form, drag and drop them into the correct order, and then edit any 'field options' (such as field names and if they are required fields).

You can then go into the 'Settings' tab on the left hand nav and configure some more advanced settings for your form.
In 'General' you can do the following:
Name the form
Give it a description
Give it a tag
Change the submit button text
Change the submit button processing text
Inside 'Spam protection and Security' you can configure the level of form security that you desire
In 'Notifications' you can set up the system to send you alerts by email when you have a form fill. Simply add in your:
Email address(es) you want responses to go to
The email subject line
The from name
The sending email - this needs to be from the same domain the Plot site sits on (i.e your domain)
You'll then have the ability to go to 'Confirmations' and set up a thank you message or set an action on form submit. Once this is complete, click 'Save'.
Placing forms on pages
Once you've set up all the different forms that you'll need across the site, you can quickly and easily place them on any page you wish. Navigate to a page and add a new Plot layout, "Form".
You can then easily add a heading section if you wish, choose the form you want to add from the drop-down, pick which theme you'd like the form branded in, and add some small print underneath the form.
