Although not suitable for most venues, having various holding pages for the phases of a festival is crucial. You have the ability to create as many holding pages as you wish and have them show up when you want.

There are two ways to create holding pages:

Simple Holding pages

A simple holding page is a collection of layout and predetermined features that make creating and putting live pre-reg or thank-you pages a breeze.

Firstly, you'll need to head over to the 'Holding Pages' on the left-hand side nav and click 'Add New'.

Now, we can create our simple holding page. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Give the holding page a title.

  2. Select 'Simple Holding Page'.

  3. Decide on the right layout style for you.

  4. Choose image or video background.

  5. Add in the background image or video (2500px wide ideally).

  6. Add in alternate image or video for smaller screens (1200px wide ideally).

  7. Select the brightness of the background.

  8. Choose your primary or secondary brand colours for the page.

  9. Choose the alignment of the page text.

  10. Add your Logo (at least 1000 px wide).

  11. Include a heading.

  12. Include a page statement.

  13. Add a form (we will show you how to create forms in the next step).

  14. Add some small print to the page.

  15. Include social media links.

Holding pages made from layouts

The other way to create holding pages is to start with a blank canvas and build them out of the Plot layouts. To do this, follow the same process as above but instead of clicking on the 'Simple Holding Page', please select 'Custom Page Built from Plot Layouts'. You can then start to add layouts to suit your holding page needs.
